Danielle and Lindsay welcome you to Prospect House Bed and Breakfast. This lovely colonial style home is situated in the Blue Spur 3 kilometres for the town centre and stands surrounded by lovely gardens on an ancient river terrace with commanding views of the Southern Alps and Mount Cook. Our guest books are full of accolades of the space and luxurious comfort of our home, the friendly host family, as well as the fine food and wines that we provide. Guests all say that they wished that they had arranged their trip so that they could stay longer.


The spacious guestrooms (one King and one Queen) both have full ensuite facilities. Adjoining the king is a separate room containing a double and a single bed.

Our spacious dining room caters for your dining needs. Enjoy a meal whilst looking at the spectacular scenery on offer. We offer full 3 course evening meals and either a continetal or a full cooked breakfast.

Relax on the tranquil deck whilst enjoying pre-dinner refreshments.

The beautiful homestay is situated in a semi-rural enviourment on 8 acres only a few minutes from town.


The substaintual family home was designed to maximise the views yet retaining special privacy offered by its unique location.
